Getting started with Sanoma Ad Manager APIs

In order to get started with Sanoma APIs there are a few steps that you need to follow.

Start by creating a Sanoma Ad Manager account. Sanoma Ad Manager is our self-service channel for campaign booking and reporting.

Same user credentials are also used to log in to this API portal portal.

Create new Sanoma Ad Manager account

Notes:

  • If someone else from your organization has already signed up, you will be included in the same organization.

  • If you are a partner and not the advertising organization, you still need to create an account to the Sanoma Ad Manager, but your advertising clients will also need accounts.

  • After login to Sanoma Ad Manager API Portal, you will get a welcoming email and access to subscribe our API products.

Step by step instructions

  1. Click "Create account" button from above.

  2. Search your Organisation by entering VAT code (Y-tunnus) to search box.
    - If search returns correct organization. Select it from search results.
    - If not, then click the "Luo uusi organisaatio" and create it.

  3. Enter any missing information for your organisation and enter your user informations.

  4. Confirm that you are a human (hCaptcha)

  5. Read and accept the Sanoma Ad Manager terms and conditions by ticking the box ("Hyväksyn Sanoma Ad Manager -palvelun Käyttöehdot ja olen tutustunut Sanoman tietosuojalausekkeeseen sekä yritysasiakaskontaktien henkilötietojen käsittelyä koskevan tietosuojakuvaukseen")

  6. Click “Luo asiakkuus” button to create the account.

  7. You should have received a welcome email from Sanoma. Click on the link "Salasanan asettaminen ja vaihtaminen" from email to start the reset process. Give your email address and click "Lähetä koodi" to receive the security code

  8. Check your email again. You have now received the code to your email, enter the code in the form and click "Vahvista" to check the code. If you didn’t receive the code, click "Lähetä koodi uudelleen" to resend it (it may take a while for the code to be sent).

  9. Click "Jatka"

  10. Enter your new password, re-enter it and press "Jatka" one more time.

    Your account has been created!

    Now you can log in to

    • Sanoma Ad Manager self.service channel with your new account ("Kirjaudu sisään").

    • You can also now login to this API Portal using “Sign in” link. Always accept popups for this website in your browser to use the authentication and "Try API" -features correctly!
